Hi, I’m Caroline,
I’ve been sewing since I can remember and over the past 30 years it’s evolved from making my own school bags, cushion covers, work-wear, and, more recently, clothes for my daughters. When my children were born I found a new hobby of buying fabric designs and having them printed on a variety of bases, which I took great joy in experimenting with. Over time I started getting requests for makes and that grew into a small business.
Through a lot of experimentation I’ve developed a catalogue that is all about fun and functional clothing in bright designs My products are easy to get on and off, aren’t restrictive, and promote kids getting on with what they’re good at – being kids!
Every singe item that leaves my sewing room is made with love and is one of a kind.
Due to the nature of the business I have a 2-3 week lead time for in-stock fabrics and 6-8 weeks for pre-order fabric, My business model is to reduce waste by only buying in what stock I need so a majority of orders will have the longer lead time. I appreciate this can be somewhat off-putting but I can assure you that my current customers think it is worth the wait!
